Let us together explore inner peace,facing the shock and pain in life.
當我們遭遇到突如其來的災變事故時,一時之間的痛苦無法言喻。
When we encounter sudden catastrophic events,the pain in that moment is beyond words.
我們只能慢慢地釋懷,接受這樣的事實。
We can only slowly let go,accepting this reality.
然後再重新回到例行的生活裡。
And then gradually return to our routine lives.
假如遭逢親友的死亡,失業,或是信念的瓦解,我們的內心就被攪動。
If we encounter the death of loved ones,job loss,or the crumbling of beliefs,our inner world is stirred.
在這些攪亂的情緒之後,我們會希望能夠讓自己安歇下來,而去找尋另一份新的穩定和關係。
After these turbulent emotions,we wish to find rest for ourselves, seeking a new sense of stability and connection.
但是,另一波的巨浪又會降臨,而打擊到我們所渴望的安全。
However,another giant wave often descends,striking at the security we long for.
如此的反覆之過程,讓我們不斷地追求,又不斷地遭受打擊。
This repetitive process causes us to constantly pursue,and constantly be struck down.
這其中,到底我們的心出現了什麼問題?
Amidst all this,what problems have arisen in our hearts?
為何我們受困其中?
Why are we trapped within it?
親愛的朋友們,
Dear friends,
當我們心中不迷惑在事情的變化上,而是我們接收到無常本身的包容特性時,內外交困的情況將會消失。
When our hearts are no longer bewildered by the changes of things, but rather embrace the inclusive nature of impermanence itself,the situation of internal and external distress will disappear.
此時就是我們學習佛法、練習禪修、修習四念住,觀察身心無常,而了解「無我的智慧」的時候了!
Now is the time for us to learn the Dharma, practice meditation, and cultivate the Four Foundations of Mindfulness—observing the impermanence of body and mind to realize the wisdom of "non-self."
這將會是您的生命中尚待探索的大海。
This will be an ocean in your life yet to be explored.
這其中,必須我們去獨自航行。
Within it,we must navigate alone.
