我們會造成緊張的原因有很多。
There are many reasons why we create tension for ourselves.
若是禪修中感覺到太緊了!最好的方法就是釜底抽薪。
If you feel too tight during meditation,the best way is to address the root cause.
若是生活上太緊張造成了恐懼!那是因為我們的得失心,會有得失心,是因為自私自利。
If excessive tension in life leads to fear,it's because of our attachment to gain and loss,which stems from selfishness.
若是純粹以服務奉獻的心為人處事,那麼恐懼,就不會發生。
If we purely interact with the world with a heart of service and dedication,then fear will not arise.
但是我們仍然可以深入探討。
However,we can still explore this deeper.
我們正在害怕的是事情本身,還是面對事件時,心中所產生的看法?
Are we truly afraid of the event itself,or the views that arise in our minds when facing the event?
您會發覺,其實大部份是我們心中的想法,所引起的。
You will discover that,in reality,it is mostly triggered by the thoughts in our minds.
我們的思想,喜歡以傲慢的角度跟姿態,來譴責眼前的事實,因此恐懼跟擔心的情緒,就會發生。
Our thoughts tend to condemn the present reality from an arrogant perspective and stance,leading to feelings of fear and worry.
而這樣子的思想,它只是陳舊記憶中的產物而已,實際上它已經是早就消失了的事實。
And such thoughts are merely products of old memories; in reality, they are facts that have long since disappeared.
因此我們是被自己的妄想給嚇壞了,而不是事實本身。
Therefore,we are frightened by our own delusions,not by the facts themselves.
如果是事實,那麼只要面對它,就不需要再去了解它或是評斷它了。
If it is a fact,then by simply facing it,there is no need to understand or judge it further.
在這個世界上並沒有一樣事物不會產生變化的,世間無常是無法改變的事實。
There is nothing in this world that does not change;the impermanence of existence is an unchangeable truth.
當然對於未來所擔憂懼怕的事, 它們可能會發生。
Of course,the things we worry and fear about in the future,they might happen.
但是任何的苦難包括快樂,都只是暫時的,它們都會因時間的改變而消失的。
But any suffering,including happiness,is only temporary;they will all disappear with the passage of time.
因此只要我們勇敢的面對它,再大的苦難都將過去。
Therefore,as long as we bravely face it,even the greatest suffering will pass.
您不需要利用恐懼把困難擴大,來嚇壞你自己,無論結果是好是壞,這樣的過程唯獨你親身感受。
You don't need to use fear to magnify difficulties and scare yourself; whether the outcome is good or bad,this process is uniquely experienced by you.
在自己的生命中,這是偉大的事,應該用莊重冷靜的心,來面臨這樣的難關。
In your life,this is a great matter,and you should face such challenges with a dignified and calm heart.
